Blast near City Convention Centre in Imphal, no casualty reported

A bomb blast took place near the gate of the high security zone of City Convention Centre in Imphal this evening.

No casualty is, however, reported in the blast that took place at around 6:30 p.m.

The police personnel, who rushed to the spot, are conducting the search operations in the area.

Security has been beefed up in and around Imphal city following the explosion.
