David Ferrer pulls out of Wimbledon due to elbow injury

World number eight David Ferrer has pulled out of the upcoming Wimbledon Championships due to an elbow injury.
The Spaniard was scheduled to face Britain's James Ward in the first round. Ward will now take on a lucky loser from qualifying, Luca Vanni of Italy, the BBC reported.
Wimbledon will commence on Monday, with defending champion Novak Djokovic taking on Germany's Phillip Kohlschreiber in their opening game.
