A Delhi Court on Wednesday granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA and former law minister Somnath Bharti, who has been accused of domestic violence by his wife Lipika Mitra.
On Monday, the Dwarka Court had extended Bharti's judicial custody till October 19.
The apex court had earlier rejected the Bharti's bail plea and had asked him to approach a lower court.
Bharti, who was brought to the national capital by the Delhi Police on Saturday, has refuted the allegations levelled against him by him wife.
