Former Union Minister Bijoy Krishna Handique passes away

Lok Sabha member from Assam, Bijoy Krishna Handique passed away at the age of 82 at a hospital here on Sunday.

Handique was yesterday admitted to Jorhat Medical College. He was later shifted to the ICU.

The Congress leader is survived by a wife and three daughters.
