Indian Mina Haj death toll rises to 29

The death toll of Indians in Thursday's Haj stampede in Mina rose to 29 on Sunday.

"The number of Indian lives lost in Haj stampede has unfortunately gone up to 29," tweeted External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj confirmed the deaths.

Earlier, EAM Swaraj said 22 Indians had lost their lives and 13 others were injured.

Meanwhile, Saudi authorities have put the total number of deaths at 769 and those injured at about 934 others.

Saudi Arabian King Salman has formed a committee to probe the incident.
