Pakistan's premier intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), and the Afghan intelligence outfit, the National Directorate of Security (NDS), have signed a landmark deal aimed at increasing the fight against terrorism.

According to the Dawn, the deal was followed by a landmark visit by Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Army Chief Gen. Raheel Sharif and ISI Chief Lt. Gen. Rizwan Akhtar to Kabul.

The Government of Pakistan has condemned Taliban, saying that any violence in the future would be regarded as terrorism.

The agreement was officially announced by the ISPR that speaks on behalf of the ISI and forms the public affairs wing of armed forces.
