MJ Akbar takes oath as Rajya Sabha MP
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson M.J Akbar took oath as a Rajya Sabha member on Tuesday.
Akbar had won the Rajya Sabha by-polls from Jharkhand by a margin of 19 votes after defeating Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidate Haji Hussain Ansari.
The tenure of Akbar's seat will be till July 2016.
