Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that his club can go ahead and sack him, but he is not going to quit his job following his side's 1-3 defeat against Southampton in their Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho, however, warned his club saying that if they sack him, they would fire the best manager Chelsea could ever have.

He further insisted that it is not a time to play blame game and everyone should focus on their responsibilities and stick together.

According to Sport24, Mourinho felt that Chelsea should have gotten a penalty at 1-1 when Radamel Falcao was booked for diving in an incident involving goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

Reacting to the matter, the 52-year-old said that it was a giant penalty which his side didn't get, adding that his players have lost even more confidence after the loss.

Mourinho further lashed out at the Football Association, saying that they never punish other managers for their mistakes.

After the loss, Chelsea moved down to 16th spot, having eight points from eight games played. They will next lock horns against Aston Villa on October 17.
