PM Modi to today visit Kedarnath temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Kedarnath Temple in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand on Friday.

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for reconstruction work at the shrine, including the security wall, museum, and the Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi at Kedarnath.

His visit comes a day before the closure of the portals of the temple for the winter season. He is also likely to address a gathering at Kedarpuri.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the Prime Minister's visit.
