Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday wished good health and a long life to Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel on her 73rd birthday.
"Warm birthday wishes to Gujarat CM @anandibenpatel. May Almighty bless her with good health and a long life," Prime Minister Modi tweeted.
Patel took oath as the 15th Chief Minister of Gujarat earlier on May 22 succeeding Narendra Modi, after the latter was elected as the Prime Minister following the BJP's victory in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
Patel, who was born on November 21, 1941, in Kharod village of Gujarat's Mehsana district, is the state's first woman Chief Minister.
