Turkey's ruling AKP restores majority in parliament

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu's party has restored majority in the parliament after preliminary election results showed the ruling Justice and Development Party, or AKP, won just above 49 percent.
According to News24, Davutoglu said that it was a day of victory and humility.
Supporters at the party's Ankara and Istanbul headquarters were waving flags in rapturous celebrations.
People in large numbers outside President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's home in Istanbul were shouting "Turkey is proud of you.
