Punjab Minister Bikram Singh Majithia on Friday, denying the charges made against him, stated that he wants the truth to come out and will assist the concerned agencies in any way he can.
"I was served with the notice on December 19 and today is December 26. A weekend and Christmas fell in between but I have come at the first instance. Like I have said all along, I want the truth to come out and I want to proactively help whichever agency or forum which will get to the bottom of this," Majithia told the media, after appearing before the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) here.
Earlier this week, the ED reportedly summoned Majithia based on the statements of alleged drug dealer Jagdish Bhola and local politician Bittu Aulakh, who have claimed that the Punjab Minister was involved in the narcotics trade.
Majithia has denied the charges.
