Among the other constituents of the index, Reliance Industries Ltd increased 5.35% and Selan Explorations Technology Ltd added 4.81% on the day. The S&P BSE Energy index went down 16.92 % over last one year compared to the 4.64% fall in benchmark SENSEX.
