Turnover on NSE's F&O segment drops
The Nifty March 2018 futures traded at 10003.20, near Nifty's spot closing of 9998.05 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment dropped to Rs 7.84 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 13.65 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index slumped 116.70 points or 1.15% to settle at 9,998.05.
State Bank of India (SBI), Jubilant FoodWorks, Tata Steel, Reliance Industries (RIL) and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. SBI March 2018 futures traded at 234.50, at a slight discount to spot closing of 234.70. Jubilant FoodWorks March 2018 futures traded at 2278, at a premium over spot closing of 2270.

The March 2018 F&O contracts expire on Wednesday, 28 March 2018.
