Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 1.89%

Nifty Realty index closed up 1.89% at 285.55 today. The index is up 5.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Godrej Properties Ltd gained 2.88%, Phoenix Mills Ltd rose 2.85% and DLF Ltd jumped 2.85%. The Nifty Realty index is up 11.00% over last one year compared to the 6.64% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Energy index added 1.55% and Nifty PSE index added 1.47% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.64% to close at 11662.6 while the SENSEX added 0.60% to close at 39131.04 today.
