RBI imposes penalty on City Union Bank
The Reserve Bank of India has imposed a penalty of Rs 1 crore on City Union Bank for non-compliance with certain provisions of the directions contained in the Reserve Bank of India (lending to micro, small and medium enterprises sector) Directions 2017 and the circulars on education loan scheme and credit flow to agriculture - agriculture loans - waiver of margin/ security requirements.
