Real Estate stocks rise

Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index increasing 19.36 points or 0.94% at 2082.31 at 09:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 5%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 2.83%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 1.26%),Omaxe Ltd (up 1.01%),DLF Ltd (up 0.93%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Godrej Properties Ltd (up 0.89%), and Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.87%).

On the other hand, Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 0.76%), and Sobha Ltd (down 0.24%) turned lower.

At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 59.65 or 0.15% at 40188.7.

 

The Nifty 50 index was up 7.15 points or 0.06% at 11884.6.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 85.4 points or 0.63% at 13643.45.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 30.14 points or 0.64% at 4718.29.

On BSE,1010 shares were trading in green, 471 were trading in red and 74 were unchanged.
