Real Estate stocks rise

Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index increasing 47.23 points or 2.32% at 2083.75 at 09:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, DLF Ltd (up 4.13%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 3.41%),Godrej Properties Ltd (up 2.66%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 1.93%),Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 1.8%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Sobha Ltd (up 1.11%), Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.83%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.7%).

On the other hand, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 0.19%), and Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 0.03%) turned lower.

At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 208.09 or 0.52% at 40259.96.

 

The Nifty 50 index was up 66.15 points or 0.56% at 11910.25.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 102.33 points or 0.76% at 13533.78.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 34.7 points or 0.75% at 4654.57.

On BSE,1045 shares were trading in green, 420 were trading in red and 55 were unchanged.
