IPL: Mumbai opt to bat against Punjab

Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat against Kings XI Punjab in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Friday.

Mumbai made one change to their side, with Unmukt Chand coming in place of wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel.

In the Kings XI Punjab, Anureet Singh and Farhan Behardien were replaced by Gurkeerat Singh and Glenn Maxwell.

The teams:

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma (captain), Unmukt Chand, Nitish Rana, Ambati Rayudu, Krunal Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Jos Buttler, Harbhajan Singh, Tim Southee, Jasprit Bumrah and Mitchell McClenaghan.

Kings XI Punjab: Murali Vijay (captain), Marcus Stoinis, Hashim Amla, David Miller, Glenn Maxwell, Wriddhiman Saha, Axar Patel, Mohit Sharma, Gurkeerat Singh, Sandeep Sharma, K.C. Cariappa.
