Mild tremors in Punjab

Mild tremors were felt in parts of Punjab Thursday afternoon.

The earthquake which struck at 3.43 p.m. measured 4.7 on the Richter scale.

The tremors were felt in Hoshiarpur and Gurdaspur districts and Anandpur Sahib area of Ropar district, Met officials said here.

No casualty was reported.

The earthquake was mainly felt in the area along the Punjab-Himachal Pradesh border.
