Nine family members killed in UP accident

Nine members of a family were killed on Wednesday when a speeding truck rammed into a sport utility vehicle in Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh, police said.

The victims hail from Jamuniyamau village of Faizabad district. They were returning after offering prayers at a shrine in Bahraich.

More than 20 people were injured in the accident and rushed to medical facilities where the condition of four was said to be critical.
