Agitated over his mother's regular humiliation and torture, a youth in Pakistan's port city of Karachi hit his father on head and killed him.
Seed-ul-Islam,22, of the city's North Nazimabad town, hit an iron tool on father's head to stop his torture of mother. The strike killed the man, Online news agency reported Friday.
The youth told police during initial probe that his father was a habitual vicious person who used to brutally torture his mother regularly.
Islam said that he disliked his father's behaviour towards his mother and would often turn angry. But he always controlled himself somehow.
"I lost my self control today, when saw the father torturing mother brutally again. I was carrying an iron tool in hand and hit him with that in anger," he said.
