Rahul condemns Karachi bus attack

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi strongly condemned the attack on a bus in Karachi in Pakistan on Wednesday.

"I strongly condemn the brutal terrorist attack in Karachi. Innocent lives have been lost in a senseless act of violence," Gandhi said in a statement.

The Congress leader also called for strong action against the perpetrators of the "cowardly" act.

At least 43 people were killed and 20 injured when gunmen opened fire inside a bus carrying Ismaili Shia Muslims in the Pakistani port city of Karachi.
