Opposition within

Digvijay Singh, the former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and currently an important general secretary of the Congress, often has a view different from that of his party. At one stage he even opposed going ahead with the Indo-US nuclear deal. As a result, Singh recalls with a laugh, Home Minister P Chidambaram calls him the leader of opposition of the UPA government.
