Addressing students of the University of California, Berkeley, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said that the Narendra Modi government’s November 2016 decision to demonetise high-value currency and the hastily implemented goods and services tax (GST) had caused tremendous damage to the economy.
Gandhi also conceded that arrogance had crept into the Congress party around the year 2012 and the members had stopped interacting with people.
