Laying emphasis on water conservation, the Rajasthan government will built rainwater harvesting structures in 100 villages of the state during a campaign next year.
The 'Water Conservation Mission', to be launched on December 13, would also focus on creating awareness among masses about saving water.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today chaired a meeting with the officials concerned and directed them to complete campaign-related works in time. They were also asked to ensure public participation in the mission.
Under the mission, works for water conservation will begin from January 27 next year and completed before June 30, keeping in view the next monsoon cycle.
