Jr engineer held on graft charge

Acting on a complaint, a vigilance team laid a trap and caught the junior engineer Vipin Bihari from Lakhibagh in Gaya district after he allegedly took a bribe of Rs. 15,000 from complainant Azad Anwar, Additional Director General of Police, Vigilance, P K Thakur said.

The junior engineer was booked under the Prevention of Corruption Act and would be produced in a designated vigilance court tomorrow for judicial remand, Thakur said.
