Two chairmen of state-run corporations, appointed by Arunachal Chief Minister Nabam Tuki, have resigned from their posts citing financial mismanagement and lack of leadership.

The two - Arunachal Pradesh Mineral Development & Trading Corporation Ltd Chairman Techi Lama and Hydro Power Development Corporation Chairman Tani Loffa - in a letter to Tuki submitted their resignations yesterday.

The letter, a copy of which was made available to the media read, "It is strongly felt that we are unable to deliver for the development of the state and the people under the leadership of present Chief Minister Nabam Tuki due to financial mismanagement, law and order problem and lack of leadership."

When contacted over phone, Lama said, "This is only the beginning as there will be mass resignations in the days to come. Just wait and watch".
