2 minor brothers drown in pond

Two minor brothers drowned in a pond in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday at Bari Brahma area when the children, identified as Sushil Kumar (7) and Bittu Kumar (5), slipped into the pond while they were playing near it, they said.

The bodies have been fished out and handed over to their family after postmortem, police said.
