3 held for snatching mobile phone in northeast Delhi

Three men were arrested for allegedly snatching the mobile phone of a 22-year-old woman in northeast Delhi's Jyoti Nagar area, police said on Thursday.

Sahil (23), Faizan (22) and Tauhid (22) targeted the victim, who works at a salon, around 3 PM, a senior police officer said.

As the woman cried for help, locals caught the accused and later handed them over to police, the officer said.

They have been booked under relevant sections of the IPC and further investigation is on, they added.
