39 police officers pass out from SKPA

Eight Deputy Superintendents were among 39 police officers who passed out today at an Attestation-cum-Passing out Parade at Udhampur-based Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy.

As many as 8 Deputy SPs and 31 Prohibitory Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) of Police Telecom department passed out at the Attestation-cum-Passing out Parade of 10th Batch of Deputy Superintendents of Police and PSIs at the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur.

Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh, who was Chief Guest for the occasion, took salute from the passing out trainee officers and conducted the inspection of the parade followed by an oath ceremony.

Addressing the parade, Singh said that Jammu and Kashmir police has rendered yeoman's service for decades in dealing with serious challenges of terrorism and law and order in the state.
 

He said that passing out parade is an important occasion in the life of a trainee as it is the culmination of hard work put in by them and the training staff.

It is a proud day for all those who get into the portals of the service which they have joined, Singh said.

He asked JK police to make honesty, integrity, accountability, transparency, protection of human rights and service to the people as its benchmark to come up as a Model Police Force.
