Four Nigerian students allegedly overpowered the cab driver and dumped him here before fleeing with the vehicle, the police said today.
The incident happened last night when the Nigerian nationals booked the vehicle of a cab aggregator and boarded it from Akshardham in Delhi, they said.
Soon after boarding the vehicle, they overpowered the cab driver Ankur, a resident of Kankankheda Meerut, and asked him to driver to Greater Noida, Kasna Police station incharge Jitendra Kumar said, quoting an FIR filed by the cab driver.
After reaching near Ryan School in Greater Noida, they threw the driver out of the cab and sped away, he said, adding police is probing the case.
