60 kg ganja seized from house in Rameswaram, man held

Around 60 kgs of ganja meant to be smuggled to Sri Lanka was today seized from a house in Akkalmadam near here and one persons arrested in this connection, police said.

Based on a tip-off, a team of Q-Branch police searched the house of one Gunasekaran and recovered 60 kg ganja worth Rs 60 lakh in the international market and arrested him.
