: There has been an eight feet increase in the water level in Mettur dam in the last 48 hours due to heavy rains in the catchment areas, PWD sources said.
The water level today was 74.40 feet against its full level of 120 feet.
The inflow was 36,217 cusecs and outflow was maintained at 500 cusecs, they said.
