Absconder arrested after 7-yr

An absconder, who was evading his arrest in a rape case for the last seven years, was today arrested in Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

Police raided a house in Gunthal belt of Surankote tehsil in Poonch and arrested Barkat Hussain, they said.

Barkat was evading his arrest for the last over 7 years for his involvement in a rape case in the area, police said.
