Ambedkar statue vandalised

Unknown persons vandalised a statue of B R Ambedkar in Dabri area of South-West Delhi, police said today.

"The incident was reported at around 10:30 AM. The nose and index finger of right hand of the statue was found damaged. It was probably done by a brick," a senior police official said.

A case of injuring or defiling a place of worship with intent to insult the religion of any class has been registered, police said.
