G Anbarasu of Tamil Nadu and Pramila Krisani of Odisha emerged victorious in men's 62kg and women's 53kg categories respectively in the 67th Men & 30th Women Senior National Weightlifting Championship here today.
Displaying good technique, Anabarasu lifted a total of 266kg (119 +147) for a first place. Swapnil B Ghagare of Maharashtra 263kg(119 +144) took the second place while Apurba Chetia of SSCB 261kg (114+147) grabbed the third place.
In the women's 53kg category, Pramila Krisani of Odisha secured first place with a total lift of 177kg (77+100) while Joti Mal of West Bengal 172kg(76+96) and Diksha Gaekwad of Maharashtra 171kg(74+97) were placed second and third respectively.
