Press Trust of India New Delhi
In restricted activity, arhar and its dal remained weak and prices fell by another Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today owing to tepid demand from retailers.

However, other pulses moved in a tight range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.

Traders said adequate stocks position against easing demand from retailers at prevailing levels mainly kept pressure on arhar and its dal prices.

In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety fell further by Rs 100 each to Rs 9,000 and Rs 12,300-14,300 per quintal respectively.
