'Balika Vadhu' actor to debut in Karan Johar's film

Filmmaker Karan Johar has signed popular TV actor Siddharth Shukla for upcoming film 'Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya'.

Siddharth, best known for his role in 'Balika Vadhu', has signed a three film deal with Karan Johar's production house.

Siddharth was a participant in the dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa', in which Karan was one of the judges.

Both Karan and Shashank Khaitan, the director of 'Humty Sharama Ki Dulhaniya' were impressed with Siddharth.

"Siddharth has been signed up for the film. He is a talented actor and a rage in 'Balika Vadhu'. Dharma Productions plans to continue its professional equation with him," Karan Johar said.
 

And now, the TV actor will make his debut with this film which stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead. Siddharth will play an important role too in the film, says a source.
