A local court has sentenced two Bangladeshi nationals to three years imprisonment for making a robbery attempt in 2014.
Additional District Sessions judge Umesh Chand convicted the duo after holding them guilty under IPC section 401 (punishment for belonging to gang of thieves) yesterday.
A fine of Rs 5,000 each was also imposed on the Bangladeshi nationals.
According to the prosecution, Aslam and Salim were arrested for the robbery attempt in Kotwali police station area here on July 30, 2014.
