BEML Q2 net loss narrows to Rs 30 cr

State-run BEML Ltd today reported a standalone net loss of Rs 30.16 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.

The company had reported a net loss of Rs 55.14 crore for the year-ago period, it said.

Total income from operations of the company during the quarter increased to Rs 621.20 crore from Rs 451.28 crore in the year-ago period, it added.

BEML operates in three major business verticals for associated equipment manufacturing -- mining and construction, defence and rail and metro.
