A head constable of Noida Police was today found dead in a drain near Vijay Nagar railway crossing here.
Passersby informed the Modi Nagar Police after sighting the body in 'khaki' uniform floating in the 'nullah', police said, adding that the body was later fished out of the drain.
"The man was identified as Ram Khel Singh Tomer, head constable posted at Kanawani Police Chowki of Sector 58 Noida," SHO Modi Nagar Deepak Sharma said.

Sharma said that Tomar's family, which is living in Harmukh Puri, told that Ramkhel was suffering from low sugar and suspected that he may have fainted and fallen into the drain.
No injury was visible on his body, police said, adding that exact cause of the death will be ascertained after post mortem examination.
