Boy lifts woman's bag containing Rs 90 K

A boy decamped with a woman passenger's bag carrying Rs 90,000 cash at a bus stand here, police said today.

The boy dodged the lady passenger saying a portion of her "odhani" (part of sari) was dirty and she should clean it, the police said.

As the woman got busy to confirm what he had said, the boy lifted her bag and disappeared from the Pokharan bus stand, they said.

Police were reviewing the CCTV footage to trace the accused.
