Brad Pitt saves young fan from being crushed

Actor Brad Pitt saved a young girl from being crushed by a crowd of his fans who had gathered to watch him film his latest movie, "Allied".

Pitt, 52, rushed to her rescue as a huge crowd gathered to watch him shoot in the Canary Islands, reported ET online.

Hundreds of fans rushed forward to take photographs and selfies of the superstar, and the girl was in danger of being crushed against a security barrier.

Video footage showed him grab hold of the girl with the help of his bodyguards, and lift her to safety and on to the road.
 

"Allied" is set to hit theaters on November 23.
