Two brothers were sentenced by a local court here for raping a minor girl in 2010.
Additional District Judge S N Tripathi sentenced Pawan Gupta to life imprisonment and imposed a penalty of Rs 68,000 on him while Babloo Gupta was sentenced to seven years in prison and a penalty of Rs 28,000 was imposed on him.
The two had kidnapped and raped a minor girl in Usawan area in December 2010.
The victim's father lodged an FIR against the duo after which police filed the charge sheet in court.
