BSRTC hikes fare by flat 20 per cent

The bus fare has been raised by a flat 20 per cent with immediate effect, the sources said.

The Road Transport Minister Vrishan Patel defended the fare hike announced by BSRTC and said that it had become imperative after diesel price hike by the Centre recently.
