One person was killed on the spot this morning when his car fell into a ditch on NH-37 near Dharamtul in Morgaon district, the police said.
The car was on way to Nagaon from Guwahati when it skidded off the road and fell into the ditch.
The deceased has been identified as Pradip Gogoi, a senior bank employee.
