Child killed in fire

charred to death, while his mother and infant brother received severe burn injuries in a fire here today.

The fire started in a residential building in Mumbra township, reportedly due to a problem in an inverter, at around 11.30 AM and engulfed one of the houses occupied by the Kadri family, police said.

The deceased was identified as Jishan Salman Kadri. His mother Gultaj Kadri (28) and brother Usman (2) have been admitted to hospital, where they are said to be in critical condition.

The blaze has been putout.
