Clerk held for accepting bribe

A senior clerk was today arrested by the anti corruption department sleuths for allegedly accepting bribe here, police said.

Saiyyad Akbar Mehndi Rizvi, posted at Sri Duttaganj Vikas Khand, was arrested accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 from Ram Kumar to release the second instalment of Indira Aawas Yojana, police said.

An FIR has been registered against him, they said.
