Several people, including some policemen, were injured today in a clash which broke out during an eviction exercise to vacate some illegal shops in Sagarpur locality of south-west Delhi.
The incident took place after a shop owner created ruckus when police tried to evict him as per a court order.
Several persons, including some cops and an autorickshaw driver, were injured in the clash which broke out after the owner along with his supporters refused to vacate the shop, a police officer said.

Over half-a-dozen people were booked for rioting and assaulting policemen after the incident, he said.
"The policemen were supervising the eviction exercise related to four shops. When they reached the shop of one Ravinder Singh Jolly, he refused to vacate the premises and started screaming and calling for help, following which a mob gathered at the spot," the police officer said.
The mob blocked the road and clashed with the police in which several were injured, he added.
